my daughter just called me, she has a flu bug. she's throwing up. she's 5 plus months without a drink. she said, "gosh, mom - i didn't know SOBER PEOPLE PUKED!!"

ha! i never know what she'll say next.

At least when you're drunk, the pain and horribleness of it all is lessoned as you aren't fully aware of what's going on anyways.
I have a feeling that this flu bug of hers is really hitting hard as there just isn't any alcohol to numb or dull the reality.

Glad you found some humor in what she said. I really believe that often times, humor keeps us sane!
