Allo!
Hello! New boy here.
Just to give a warning: I am told that my English is very good, but in case of any mistakes, it isn't my first language (born and raised in Quebec). Go easy on me!
I'm not sure how much I'm supposed to say here, but I guess I'll give the basic story.
I'm a cocaine addict, and it's taken me a while to realize that. Up until recently I told myself that I was just using and that it wasn't a big deal. I've now realized that it really is a big deal. I haven't quit yet, but I plan on it. A person has come into my life who is definitely a very good influence, and has been helping me spend more (and longer) periods sober, and also helping me re-learn how to live. He's offered me a place to stay to get away from my current environment, which is very enabling. I haven't taken him up on that offer yet, but I plan to. So that's where I am now.
This seems like a very supportive place, so I'm quite glad to be here. I'm looking forward to meeting you all.
