Well, it's been a tiring, but productive day! With the help of family, I moved just about everything into my new apartment. I'm not staying there tonight as all of my clothes and personal things are still here at my parents. All the furniture is in, though and boxes unpacked. Tomorrow I'll get the rest of my stuff and Monday I took off for a much needed personal, self-care day.

I'm feeling pretty strong, physically after hiking up to the 3rd floor more times than I counted and mentally, I know I'll be ok, just will take lots of time.
I had a few teary moments, but I'm a work in progress and at least I knew better than to wear mascara today.

I have learned I need to let people help ME for a change. Also, I can't rush the good things to come. I'll get there when I'm ready and supposed to be there.

Now, if my exbf happens to call, I'll try to be strong then, too! If I survived living with him, I can survive without living with him. Plus, I know I can post here and someone will help remind me of this!

Congrats on your new place! I've been in my little house in Phoenix for over 1 1/2 years now, but my kids and I fill this place with love and laughter every time we're together. Be strong, I know you'll do just fine.
