Hi Im Sharon and Im and Alcoholic.

By the Grace of my HP and people here
in SR I havent had a drink of alcohol
since 8-11-90.

For that I am truely grateful.

I have taken many steps in recovery
with DAY 1.. being carried first. Then
I crawled. And now I walk. I walk with
with the tools and knowledge in hand
as I continue taking steps with help
and guidance from Above.

I began my journey in recovery back
in AUGUST 1990 after a family inter-
vention took place sending me to
rehab for 28 days.

AUGUST 1990 is when my new life
began.

Would you like to share your sobriety
year with us? That first day u became
willing and had the desire to go to any
lengths to stay clean and sober.


What is your SOBRIETY YEAR or
BIRTHDAY?

And remember....not everyone is on
the same page as u in recovery....We
all begin at different stages of our life...
different ages....different circumstances....
yet we all began on DAY 1.

hey sharon...it was a cold, damp, rain'y, dark day in march of 03...
i was at as we say... the jumping off point... it was that day, i reached out, and asked for help... real help... 100% surender...
it wasnt till a few weeks later i was able to put the drink/drug down for a full one day... so i guess, no i know my sobriety date is... 03/26/03...

i would like to add... it was mentioned, and it makes sence to me... that if one forgets their clean date... their destined to use again... "Prioritys"...

clean or sober... wad'a ya like... me, both!...

all good wishes, and give only love... or at least try...
