It's going good today, though really...I am just now detoxing from my weekend. The thing about what I do is that I really tear it up and it will take me any where from 2 - 3 days to feel even remotely normal again. I am exhuasted today still, but feel myself getting on the road to recovery. Ha....nice pun there eh? LOL.

Anywho, What should we name me then? SarahOfShoozle? SarahOfTheSomewhere? SarahOfTheShiny? SarahOfTheSmiley?

Ouch, I just ate a very spicy lime and garlic tofu burrito (I know this prob sounds gross to alot of you but I am Vegan, so to me it's delicious) and my mouth is burning like fire. OUCH HOT!

And you know what? The ONLY thing in the world to cure it is WATER. Not beer or wine or anything else, just water....good thing that's all I'm drinking

In Greek mythology, Theia (also written Thea or Thia), also called Euryphaessa ("wide-shining"), was a Titan. With her brother and husband Hyperion, "mild-eyed Euryphaessa, the far- shining one" (Homeric Hymn to Helios) was the mother of Helios (the Sun), Selene (the Moon) and Eos (the Dawn). The name Theia alone means simply "goddess"; Theia Euryphaessa brings overtones of extent (eury-) and brightness.

Pindar praises Theia in his Fifth Isthmian ode:

"Mother of the Sun, Theia of many names, for your sake men honor gold as more powerful than anything else; and through the value you bestow on them, o queen, ships contending on the sea and yoked teams of horses in swift-whirling contests become marvels".

She seems here a goddess of glittering in particular and of glory in general, but Pindar's allusion to her as "Theia of many names" is telling, since it suggests assimilation not only to similar mother-of-the-sun goddess like Phoebe and Leto, but perhaps also to more universalizing mother-figures like Rhea and Cybele.

PLUS, Thea is the only daughter of Gaia who is not specifically associated with water, bodies of water, or drinking--rather the sun/the moon/the dawn and brightness. not bad. not bad at all.
