I just became a registered member so now I can actually post!!!

I am so hoping this forum can help me.

I am day 1 in recovery. I have been in and out (mostly out) of AA for about 26 years. You would have thought I would have "figured it out" by now. I'm not feeling too badly right now. Like I said, I have been on and off so many times that starting over is almost an everyday occurance for me.

I'll update my profile and introduce myself a little later.

You can use your own avatar and upload it if you want to. You just click on User CP and go from there. Let me know if you need more help.

Well, its about 1:30. I would normally be thinking about my first drink of the day. And yes, I have thought about it. Please give me strength to get through today. In a bit I plan on taking out my Twenty-four Hours a Day book. Maybe that will keep me on track until tomorrow. What else could I be doing?

Mamaofsix... as long as you're not drinking that drink you're off to a good start . Every day you don't drink, it will get easier.
