Night sweat

I am on day 7. I am still waking up in a cold sweat during the night. Is this normal? I am not taking any medication for detoxing and I do not appear to have any other symptoms.

depends what you are coming off of
if its anything like me you might sweat, have dreams, depression, anxiety
for some things is is recommended that you do NOT home dtox it can be life threatening and DAMN hard to do !

Yes, I some times get that too. I find taking a cold shower last thing helps. Make sure to "degrease" your body with a good soap with no funny stuff like moisturizer (how do you spell that anyway?).

Hope it works for you.

Have a safe detox!

CONGRATS ON 7 DAYS!!!

Night sweats are normal, last time off heavy drinking (more that a 2-3 day bender) I soaked the bed for days. Also, spent a lot of time stareing at the clock.

Dont know your history, but it should be getting better soon. If you're on day 7, the worst should be over soon.

Take care,
Steve

Ditto. They go away after a while. A week or two IIRC.

Hi, I have also gotten really bad night sweats every time I detoxed. It really s***s waking up in a pile of soaked sheets. Especially when you might only get an hour or two of sleep during the first few days. A guy at my AA group recommended taking a really hot bath before bedtime. Hot enough to make you sweat quite a bit. This is supposed to help speed up departure of toxins from your body. It might or might not work for you..... worth a try maybe. Anyway, I'm on day 11 ( again ) and have'nt had any sweats for 5-6 nights now. Good Luck

After seven days you should be about the tail end of night sweats. My last detox 5 months ago, the night sweating lasted just about ten days.
Keep up the good work....it'll be better soon.
