BF's 11th Day of Sobriety and he's coming home from the Intervention Center

Wish us luck! And pray for us. Today is my BF's 11th day of sobriety, and I will be picking him up at 8 AM tomorrow morning at the intervention center. His first day of his new life back in the real world.....I am feeling so many emotions right now. Nervous, excited, happy, anxious,scared.....Oh so Anxious. THis is the longest we've ever been apart.

And I am so PROUD of HIM!!!!! I love him so much,

Sorry to let go there....I am just so excited- I had to share with those I know will understand.....

One word of caution..... Try not to have to many expectations....

Hi Cynay- I am trying to go into this holding no expectations, just one day at a time. I'm sure he will take things at his pace....And I will follow his lead ....

I would hope that he takes things at HIS pace, and you will take things at YOUR pace as opposed to following his lead. Because for each of you, the process will be different.
