Yikes------
please say it ain't so.....was replying to a post and when i pressed the post tab....got a message saying i was banned, no reason given, and then that it would never be lifted.
tried to get back in....same response.
now it's ok....anyone else have this happen????
was it just a glitch. my poor self-esteem can't stand being rejected by a forum on a computer!

i thought, man, even the forum doesn't think i'm good enough lol lol
yes, zoey....it really threw me.....this forum is my outlet, my security blanket, my sorta life-line to sanity.
seems to be working well now, tho

Panic! Same thing happened to me, I was DEVASTATED!! This place has become so very important to me. I was almost in tears. Then, trying to think what the heck did I do...thought I hadn't done anything, it was almost like deja vu w/ my A. Punished for nothing! Would they inform us if there truly was a ban? And let us know, so we could defend ourselves?

Yes if you were truely banned we would give you a reason and PM you... not to worry.
Besides why on earth would we ban you guys silly. We are just attached to you as you are.... It takes an act of God for us to do something like that.... Well an Act of Administrators that is ... and they dont like to do it either so your safe.

a flood of turmoil washed suddenly over me.......JUST LIKE WITH XAH!!!!!!!
i swear, it was like a flashback from hell.
lolololo.....we are still soooooooo fragile, aren't we????
as far as we have come, as much as we have learned, we can be thrown back there so easily.
i know what you mean, this place has become so important to me also....i was near tears too.
and the feelings it stirred up.....i know this sounds crazy.....but shame, guilt, nothingness all over again.

hey, hey, hey, my ban has been lifted! I'm back! LOL. Oh wait - I wasn't banned. I was just temporarily shut out? Oh yea - that makes me feel sooooooooooo much better ----------- NOT!!!!!!!
Ah well, all in a day of the modern technology. Great things - but with flaws and gliches just the same.

Yep it happened to me to, and when it didn't give a reason, I emailed the Webmaster, roflmao asking for an explanation.
Didn't get a reply, however, tried it again about a 1/2 hour later and the site came up so then I knew it was an "oops", lol.
Oh well, stuff happens. We're all back now.

I'm thinking I may have too much Al-Anon (if that's possible). I figured it was my HP's way of telling me my time here was done. LOL Later when I got back on I PM'd a mod to let her know what happened.

(Me, Me, Me) SMILE. Then I quick replied to embraced and held my breath when I clicked "post".
What did we all do prior to Al-Anon, AA and SOBER RECOVERY??
Just think, I was one that used to say and think I would never have a computer.
Wish I could thank the one that started SR.
Maybe this was a wakeup call to do my Gratitude list again and put SR at the top.
