About time

Hello, I've been around this site for quite some time and wasn't sure about starting a thread. I have been in Al- Anon for over 7 years and the Program has worked wonders for me. I thoroughly enjoy the healthy honest sharing on this site and I make regular visits, But more importantly I can understand the hurt and pain shared by those of us who still struggle with the problems of living with, or being affected by an Alcoholic. I hope that I am accepted into your sharing and that, in turn I may be able to help even 1 person through my sharing.

I KNOW I'M NOT YET THE MAN I COULD BE, BUT I THANK GOD I'M NOT THE MAN I USED TO BE

hi handyman - glad you're here!

i wish i had found this site while still living with AH, but it was not to be. as you know, many people do continue to share a home with an alcoholic and i'm sure you will bring much experience, strength and hope to the forum.

keep coming back!

Welcome.... Im glad you decided to join the family.

I agree Al-anon has worked wonders in my life as well, amazing the love and support found in those rooms. I could have used that many many years ago too.... ahhh well, in his time.

Glad you joined us and I look forward to getting to know you.

Hey Hey Handyman!

Welcome, its nice to meet another member of my alanon family. I love your statement about not being where you used to be, I use that alot myself.

Glad to found another tool, SR, to use in your recovery. I look forward to reading your postings here, and wish you a peaceful day today!

Welcome! It will be nice to have your input. That's quite a few years in Alanon, you could have some great insight!
