New Start
Hi everyone,
This will be another new start at sobriety. Altho drinking hasn't caused too much trouble for me over the years I realize it eventually will. Since I'm in my golden years so to speak I want them to be what they should be. Years filled with joy, happiness and good sober times.
Take Care,
Latta

Latta and welcome!
Glad that you have found us, and I am glad that you are making a decision now than to wait until you loose everything like some of us had to. Hope to hear more from you that is for sure.

Hi Latta and welcome!!
you've made the right decision, and luckily before it got a chance to take over and leave you with regrets.
This is a wonderful place to be for information, encouragement, to share experiences, and to just "belong".
have a great day!

Hi, Latta! I hope you realize how blessed you are to have "made it back"...not everyone does, you know. Sadly, we never know what has happened to those who don't come around anymore.
I'm another "senior" member...and, can only imagine the trouble I would get into if I were still drinking. Imagine tooling around in a wheelchair while "three sheets to the wind"!
