Very Good News for Now
Just an update:
Deserteyes went in for some serious tests today. Every time they do these stress tests on him there is an "Cardaic Events".... SO just got a text from him and he is done with the tests and going home.... which means he is not in the emergency/ICU which is wonderful news.
I dont know the results of the test but for today he is going home. Thank you all for your prayers and caring.... You have no idea how much they mean to not only Mike but also to me.

Hey gang,
Thanx for all your thoughts and prayers. I got home from my cardiac tests a few hours ago and the HP must listen special to you guys cuz I did real good. I did have the expected irregularities, but not the usual cardiac event that has occured every time I have tests done. This shows that the meds and PT are doing a good job of slowing down the progression of my condition.
I made a new friend, his name is Dan. He is 90yrs old and getting married next week to "young girl" that is 30yrs younger than him. He told me I should look into "jail bait" as it's definetly worth the time. He was a tank driver in WWII under Patton and we spent a couple hours chit chatting between tests.
Had a "God shot" too, one of the ladies from my sunday nite meet just happened to come by, her Mom is in the hospital for heart problem too. I told her I'd pray for her Mom and she almost started crying. I felt so bad for her.
Over the last couple days I've had the opportunity to re-connect with a very good friend in the program who has come into some really difficult times. My HP allowed me to be healthy enough to be able to be supportive of her.
Since my "cardiac event" (it's no longer politically correct to call 'em "heart attack" ) a week ago Monday I've been recovering nicely. Emotionally I've been withdrawing, that's my usual reaction to one of these things. I get very "raw" and sensitive about things. Now that I'm feeling better I hope to get out a little more, maybe even make a meeting later this week. I still have a life to live, and although I'm not too sure what to do with it, it's going to be a good one.
I also decided I wanna be a doctor. There's this drug company sales rep who goes around sweet talking all the docs to buy her drugs. She's tall, charming, cute and doesn't mind short, old guys flirting with her. Oh yea, she's a red-head too.

Mike: thanks for the report. I am so happy to hear that things sound so much better than just a few days ago. Maybe your HP had a few "missions" for you over this time,too. Sounds like you had a few wonderful encounters with some nice people.

good news is that you had such a good day.
bad news is in order to see the red-headed pharmaceutical rep., you will have to keep up a reason to see the doc.
now, here's the plan.....find out at what store she buys her red-hair dye and become a "greeter" at the door!!! LOLOL
on second thought, don't take my suggestions.....i'm sick, confused, and messed-up! (smile)
