new to posting...not new to my delima

Hi, This is my first time posting...but I neen suggestion/help!!

Been married since I was 17 (now 37) to a alcoholic...
He is a good provider and does not abuse me or my daughter...
BUT...
There are so many problems b/c of his drinking,my reactions,our
daughters lack of respect for him,etc,etc!!

I want to make our family well again ...
things are just so screwed up!

He refuses to get help or come with my daughter and I to counseling...
I'm about to give up...don't know what else to do?

We have quite a strong Al-Anon support base here too. I may not have any direct input for your situation, but don't hesitate to ask questions.

I'm sorry for you situation. Alcoholism sure does affect more then just the alcoholic. Take care of yourself. You can still lead a happy life. The people in Alanon will help guide as to how!!

Thanks for replies...I just laid my problem out there 'cause I feel so alone
and confused...Just having encouraging words helps...
Is there a ALANON message board? am I on it? or are you refering to ALANON
meetings?
New to this site AND to the computer!!!So im pretty lost...

looks like there might be a couple of meetings in your area within 5 miles.
