Wow sober for 15 years and bipolar I wish my son and daughter could do that and I hear your pain, you are in my heart and thoughts and I hope if you get the answers you will post them. I think you are doing miracles and thank you for sharing. I know the pain and torment you are living and still you are triumphant although it doesn't feel that way.

Laurie,
This might sound cliche, but just take sobriety one day at a time. I am new to recovery. I have just over two weeks under my belt. I am basically avoiding situations and places where alcohol is present.
