Please bare with me it has been awhile since I have chatted on here, I am in my fourth month of methadone treatment for opiate addiction and did not realize I was changing one addiction for another until after I had started this nitemare. I have been blessed with a wonderful Dr., though who is easing me off the methadone now, next month I will be on my last 30 days of treatment. So, I guess although I am feeling confident over my opiate addiction, I have yet an even bigger hill to face yet in the next 30 dys, but feel confident I will conquer!!

Though you changed one for the other, one is under a Dr's guidance and allows a slow change rather then cold turkey. I know a few who have done it both ways and there are many opinions. Each person does what works for them. A friend used the treatments and has done well by it.
When you follow the plan and work the program...it does work.

Sounds like a great plan. Congratulations on deciding to end the dependence. I'm hoping you're checking in here so that you can find the support you may really need in these next few months?
