Here let's play a game with our sobriety! Who here would like to play this game? I don't think that in reality we would like to play this game with our sobriety. This isn't really a game, this is a matter of life or death.

Let's see we have a bottle of vodka, JD Black Label (my favorite), or choose whatever you like. Here we now have our first bullet in the gun.

Maybe now we want to add a little bit of dope, Crack, Ice, Pot --- you choose whatever you like. Now we have two bullets in our gun.

Maybe now we will cover up our feelings with sex (OMG I could only dream of that ), shopping, eating... You choose whatever you like. Now we have three bullets in our gun.....

Maybe we won't think that we need to be honest with our sponsor, friend, spiritual advisor, --- you choose whatever you like now we have 4 bullets in our gun

Now should we start spinning the chamber or should we keep playing with fire.....

Well maybe they have to stay away from using friends but I don't have to that doesn't apply to me .... OH YES I am unique you choose whatever you like now we have 5 bullets in our guns.

Now what should we spin the chamber or should we keep playing this game...

Sobriety isn't a game it is a gift. If you don't think that you are powerless then why are you staying clean? Why are we not using if that is the case?

Do YOU want to play :uzi2: Do you have enough bullets in the gun or should we fill up the last chamber? Think about it

Well for some reasons people have reservations on there sobriety, that is like playing with fire. Not only do we have to be rid of all reservations we have to live the program. Excuses like the ones I mentioned are nothing but reservations that will end up killing you and me. I don't like to play with fire. I used to be addicted to kayos but today is different. This isn't a game and some people think that it is. I know for me, I don't know about anyone else but I don't have to play with the fire of addiction. :uzi2:

You are right. Sobriety is not a game. And addiction is nothing to fool with.

Hey Vic - that was a very confronting post. It was very in your face but I really enjoyed the feeling it gave me after reading it. Like who am I to play around with my life. I'll defiantely keep that thought it my head!!
