Yep....it's a "guy's" trip. My son was asked to go by two of my neighbors. The one is bringing his son, my son's friend. Well, since my son wasn't comfortable going without me or his dad, I opted to go. I am the mother and father of my household ...and I'm bringing my daughter.

He wanted his dad to go, but he hasn't had a chance to ask him. G did call tonight (was suppose to come over but ran into some complications ... whatever... and it was getting too late when G finally did call). But he called...I told him I appreciated it. Cause it was nice of him to call to say he wasn't going to make it over even though it was 4 hours later and almost time for the kids to go to bed..

Anyway, when G called, I asked him if he wanted to go on this fishing trip with our son. He said, "Yeah. I'd like to. And I'd like to spend time with him. I don't have any money though." So, instead of me offering to give him money so he could go...I told him to call us on Sunday and maybe then he can come over and see the kids.


I will see y'all on sunday. Tomorrow, I'm going fishing. And we're going to eat what we catch....wish us luck !!!
