Greetings all. This is my first time here... So I am a noob around these parts. I have been in and around recovery since I was 18 years old. I am now 45. Sad to say, not all those years were spent in recovery though. I had been clean and sober over 10 years and then went back out for several years. But, my lifestyle caught back up to me again, and I had to admit my life was unmanagable and spinning out of control. So as of today I have 24 days clean and sober... It's good to be back home.

Thanks you guys, I now start day 25... Though I will soon have to face the wreckage of my recent past, I can honestly say life is good today. Not perfect, but living life on lifes terms. I soon have to get ready for work, but I am really grateful to be here, and thank a special friend in recovery who shared SRC with me...

Today has been an excellent day! It's day 26 for me here. Work has gone well, one of the department managers, and directors even asked my opinion on dealing with a logistical problem we have going on... Between getting clean and sober again, and being back on my meds, life is good. I am grateful for another day. Today is my "Friday"... I will be going to a couple of meetings on my days off, and hopefully out to skate a little!
