If I can quit taking pills for 1 whole year "today" then anybody, and
I mean annnyyyybooodyyyyy that seeks the freedom from opiates
and puts forth the effort, well U can 2!!!!!
It is such a great feeling, being free.

that's exactely what I've been trying to do - on day 6 now. Still not feeling the best but I know that will come - and congrats to you!!

Well,, I have been reminded that I have not been opiate free for a year yet
I was on suboxone while in rehab for 8 days and on ultram for 2 months
after that, but considering what I was on 5 years straight prior to that
and what I did to get my DOCs I still feel one year free!
About the ultram. I told my doctor when I saw him after rehab
that I was a recovering opiate addict, who was still in bad pain w/my back
He said he was proud I told him cuz it would be so easy to write me hydros
or sompin stronger with my MRI results.
He said the ultrams were non addictive, so I treated them as such,
mabe thats why I had no withdrawls at all when I stopped takeing them.
Anywho I will have another 1 year anniversary in 2 months and 8 days.

when you mentioned the things you had to do to get your DOC just got me thinking of things I've done too - wow, just made myself nauseas
