Wooooo Hooooo 30 Days Sober
Yesterday (Friday August 18) marked the 30 day point in my recovery from da booze.
I feel great, have concentrated on my work to a better degree than in a long time the past two weeks.
Only occasionally do I think about or get a craving for a beer.
Gonna celebrate the 30 days with a fishing trip today ( which of course always used to be a huge reason to drink), but no alcohol will be leaving shore on my boat today.
Boy it feels good to be free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my 25 year old son and I had a great fishing trip yesterday. King Mackeral, Yellowtail Snapper and Skipjack Tuna.......And no frigging beer.
The benefits of a beerless fishing trip include......no danger of a BUI arrest....and no hauling a trash can full of empties to the curb upon returning home!!!!!
