21 Days
Ahhhhhhhhhh, yes a full 21 days sober today. The inspiratioin from reading others posts and support here has made this an altogether fairly easy time of it. I thank you all.
Getting ready to head out on the boat tomorrow to a group of Islands 70 miles west of Key West. We'll be gone until Sunday night. It's my birthday weekend coming up and i'll be 53 on the 13th.
Not in the last 20 years or better have I gone on a four day boat trip with no BOOZE on board and it sure feels good to do this trip with nary an alcohol distraction. There's no food, water oar any essentials at all there. It's part of The Dry Tortugas/Fort jefferson Ntional Monument.
The sight of that 1860's huge brick fort rising up out of the ocean 70 miles from land is a sight to behold, and I am so pleased to be doing it "dry"
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I'll check back in nextweek as I near my 30 DAYS sober.
