I agree in regards that all heroin addicts must be thieves. My hubs & I never stole a penny from anyone. I think that addicts that own their own homes w/furnishings, decor, wkly or monthly income and such don't need to steal. But, I also think that if we would have continued using for yrs, we would have lost everything and may have resorted to stealing eventually. I used nearly every drug known to man in my lifetime and heroin was the only 1 that I desperately needed to obtain every day, due to how quickly hellish withdrawal set in. Prescription drugs stay in your system longer, unlike heroin. Coke, meth, crack, pot and psychedelics are mentally addicting, but you don't feel like your going to die if you don't use the next day. The only thing I'm not sure about is alcohol because the most I've ever used was once or twice/wk on the wkends. But, I know people who drink daily get bad shakes & such. But, I don't know if they feel like they're dying, like heroin addicts do?
I think a lot of people's perception of a heroin addict is a homeless, living under a bridge thief. And, that's just not right. Addicts come from all walks of life.

My 2 daughter's and I are having a girl's day out tomorrow. We're going to a salon and I'm getting a haircut and my daughter's are getting a pedicure. My son bought us all $50 gift certificate to this salon for Christmas. I've never been there before, so I called to see how much cuts cost...& they said $45-$55. I think that's expensive for just a cut. Winslow, how much does your salon charge?

Just got back from the city and having a cup of tea. Thank goodness to be home was feeling a bit shaky, generalised tremor not from alcohol just angst. Walked past a pub but knew it was not an alternative so that was good.
"Off your own bat" means that she did it without anyone asking her, brothers ie. She held her own (cricket) bat and gave it a slog all on her own so that my brothers would not get into trouble with the police. She has never used an illicit drug including tobacco in her entire life, and then there was Dad the raging alcoholic. Good fisherman though. Sheeee!
Sorry if I have been raving about family lately. It's just that I don't think Mum is going to be around much longer and family have been on my mind.
I think that the illegality of drugs makes for crime. From what I've read more people don't just jump on the band wagon because they have been made legal. If alcohol were illegal bet crime would increase. Tell you what, I've felt like I was going to die following a binge. Hangover, Schmangover, I'm talking death.
My haircuts cost $25 El cheapo. I'm going for the Albert Einstein look and my friend reckons I've got it nailed. I've got a bit of a crush on Albert even though I know he's dead. His eyes look really kind. It's all relative. Oh well, she's got a crush on Rory Gallagher so why not he's dead too.
And now thank goodness I'm sober and can't be happier for the mercy. No matter what life dishes up now I know that drinking is not an alternative and to hold that card means everything, the alternative being nothing. Like zip. I got the Bird!
Everyone is really deadly here and I thank you so. Hope your day at the beauty salon turns out a beauty. And now I'll just go curl up and die.

Absolutely feel like I'm dying after a bender too,cannot wait to get my hands on alcohol, once drank a leftover beer from a party with,brace yourself, a cigarette butt in it!! That's why I'm so afraid of drinking,the pills are nothing compared to the hell alcohol gets me into,its like I totally lose sense of thought and the day after,my body is so shaky and hot it feels out of my control too,our haircuts are only $8 so you can imagine why I hate my job,we get the grossest people! Off to that hole in the wall now,hope everyone has a great Saturday😊

Looks like I posted the same vid twice, oops. I will see what bass one I meant later.
I am working on a house about to go on the market, so it is a little bit of everything.
Good thing I did not do the outside as the real estate agent has now said to change the color. I agree but this homeowner is trying to get by with the least amount of $$ spent .. meh .. he has a dark maroon dining room I said should be the off white .. but noooooo .. he said it was an ordeal getting it right when he had it done .. well um so .. it is not what a new home buyer wants to see, all neutral colors are the rule .. IMO .. I bet the agent weighs in on that as well ..
So my trucks power steering went out .. then later spewed fluid all over the homeowners driveway .. grrrrrrrrrrrr .. it was already leaking oil which I put a pan under .. but this was it .. no more for this pos .. not going to spend any more money on it ..

Hey all,Astro,I think$14 dollars would bring in a better clientele for us,I'm about 4 blocks from the strip so we get some tourists,casino workers,seniors and those peeps I love but the tweakers, drunks(hypocrite), dirty people,crazy people,etc are what drive me bananas! The neighborhood has gone down in the 13 years I've worked there but its good money cuz we crank them out fast and good,feeling ok here,hope all are well,check in peeps😊

Ceiling is white .. walls no .. I got a qt. of the supposed color for 3 nail holes and a small crack. I put it on yesterday so I have not yet been back to look it over.
I got another F-150 for $800 and sold the other one for $500 .. sold in an hour .. yay .. went from a 1992 V7 and 1/2 ha ha .. to a 2004 V6 .. yes this one also has a leak .. one .. but does not smoke and has a working AC .. runs a little rough but nothing like the other piece of junk.
So we will see how it goes .. I am about to clean the bottom of the engine / trans area to see what I am working with.

Big day again with my sister and I discussing my brother's case with his doctors. It is very tiring but we are getting there. Thank goodness for my little sister who came to the fore for the next rally.
We don't use "tweakers" here Winslow. Are they the con artists and and thieves?

I can see James Packer lining up for a $14 cut after a night of losses with the rest of the high rollers. But when I think about it that would probably tarnish your reputation as best Quik Cuts in town.
