So I was recently diagnosed with OCD, ptsd, anxiety, and major depression. All my Dr put me on was 10mg of lexapro. Been taking it for 2 months and it doesn't do anything but give me night sweats. Has anyone had any luck with all these problems and a certain prescription??? I'm having a horrible time, and I have three young children so I don't want to be loopy or zombie-ish
I clean for at least 4 hrs, work 9 hr shifts, and somehow keep up with 3 little ones and my marriage....im tired of being wonderwoman

She referred me to behavioral health. So I see him every two weeks and he said he doesn't want to medicate me...

I think next time you see him you should tell him it's not working for you.

Welcome! From my experience with SSRI's the most important thing I learned was to communicate how the med was making me feel to my prescriber. I kept a journal for a few weeks and it helped him determine how high a dose I needed and what time of day to take it for the best effect. It also helped me to not give up when I wasn't getting the results I wanted.
