I know it is not popular around here, but - am back on a prescription of klon apin to help manage my acute anxiety. The past few days have been such a relief. I could barely function before. Now I can.
I am NOT drinking still...2 months now. But I was having a hard time just working, shopping, meeting new people and living day to day without the klonapin.
Maybe not popular but I don't regret my decision for a second.
It almost seemed like what was the point if every day was just so hard to get through with the ongoing near_crippling anxiety.
Still working out and looking into group meditation also.
For now though, this is really helping.

Yaaa knowwww, we have to do what we have to do for OURSELVES. That also means taking responsibility for ourselves and if that means taking a medication to do that, then so be it. Now here is the trick....making sure we follow the instructions from the doctor to a "T". With that said, there should be know problems to relieve dis-ease or discomfort.
