18 months and holding

Hello everyone! its been a while, 1-1/2 year since the last drink, now instead of scheduling my life around alcohol ( & cigarettes ) I realize not having these vices- racing me to a early grave, that I have full control of my life, a positive sense of freedom, that I cannot remember ever having!

Those large stumbling blocks I created in my drunk past, are merely small pebbles- blown out of sober reality.

you folks are in my prayers, thanks for always being there.

and please remember- one day at a time- you can make a difference.

YOU ROCK bigtime!

I used to get mildly irritated when others in sobriety kept telling me
"just wait, it get's even better"
Now I know it's true. Congrats on your sober time!

It's always good to hear from people who're just really enjoying being sober.

Keep doing what you're doing........

Way to go! I know that feeling of freedom, it's like there's nothing in life that can beat it, not being chained by the psychological need to have a drink for whatever reason, or smoke a cigarette because you think you 'need' one.

Thank you for coming here and showing us your joy :-)
