5th DAY SOBER!!
 

I posted for the first time the other night on my 3rd night sober. WOW what a long 2 days. BUT...what a GLORIOUS feeling. God has given me 5 days so far. OUTSTANDING, I am so priveleged to be helped by so many. THANK YOU ALL for your comments the other night. I knew my w/d symptoms were normal, but its still nice to hear ppl going, yeah..I been there, it will pass. It has, somewhat. I am still having trouble sleeping and shaking a little. But all the major ones are stilled, I assume by my God.
I attended my 2nd meeting last night, another great meeting, meeting great people. More numbers and more positive input. I know AA is not for some people, but....its doing alright by me so far!
AGAIN, thank you all for support, and I still look forward to giving and getting much support in the amazing journey we have all begun.

Many things will pass fast, some will take some time.
Hang in there and know that each day brings us closer to a better way....
A sober life sure is better.

I am actually feeling tired for the first time in a couple of days so I might try to go lie down.

I went to 2 meetings tonight (my night 6). What support! Like this place, but face to face. I have realized how IMPORTANT having like people around you is. We are all sooo different, yet we all have one thing in common. I feel wonderful, i really really do. That might be why I went to 2 today. I dont want to start feeling like I have done this on my own. I am in investment of my Higher Power and many people including all of you.

Its good to KNOW your not alone.Thats the big thing for me and
meetings.Its a week n a day now scince i had a drink.My stomach is a mess
enough said there....for me drinking on top of my tablets was Stupid,and
the worst thing is I knew it...?.......Im soooo Glad things are going well for
you now....
