Hey Arura,
Big ups for Day 2! (And the .75!)
P.S. Just to pick a nit, you were, after all, able to post this thread. So, unless you are posting from the great beyond, you haven't lost it all. If you are posting from the great beyond... what's it like anyways?

Too funny findingout!!
It's great that you have 2.75 sober days. Be careful of the 3.9 though. It's a doozy. You get to feeling really great like you can just... well... maybe have a drink. Don't fall in the trap. I'll be looking out for you.

Congrats Arura, congrats, congrats, congrats. Well done on kicking the habits and well done on being sober. I have found life to be a bit of a roller coaster ride but much better to be able to see it clearly than fog it all up and not see much. Kids have a way of recuperating when there is a lot of love thrown their way too.
lots of love,
Brigid

Glad to hear you're feeling better.
One thing that I've found is that drinking (or drugging) never makes problems go away. And, unfortunately, *not* drinking or drugging doesn't make problems go away either (although you will most definately not be *adding* to them by means of alcohol/drugs). Deal with the stuff that's bothering you...then you can be truly free of alcohol. Good luck!

Apart from getting up in the night to visit the loo (becasue I am drinking LOTS of water atm, I have had a great night's sleep! First in a while.
I usually wake around 6am and get up and surf and eat something, but today I slept in to 7.30 which is going some for me. Mind you, I have reduced my calorie intake, daily, by about 2000 by not drinking booze, and am not snacking, so I feel pretty tired now.
Have a nice day everyone.

Sorry for the hijack.
That caught my eye there - I've noticed that I've been getting very tired near the end of the day, maybe that could be from a reduced caloric intake??

I've replaced some of my calories with chips. Not so good, but at least it doesn't make be drunk.
I'm sure the reduced calories have something to do with how you feel, but you may want to ask some people with more sober time that may have the answer.
