I confess. I relapsed again last night.

I slept all day and just came out of it.

I can usually handle tapering off. But I don't have anything left and the stores are closed.

I'm just starting to feel the withdrawal. I swore I would never go through this again.

It can take a while to get the knack of living sober, including perseverance over repeated attempts. But it's a skill that you can learn, never doubt that. Keep at it til it takes.

Sorry you drank but glad you made it back JLL.

If you're worried about withdrawal, maybe the ER is a good call?

yes, i swore i would never do that again, too.
eventually, the repeated returns to doing what i had decided not to do again showed me that my promises and decisions needed actions to back them up.
