"Home Group"
Hi there Kathy Hows it going ?
A " Home Group" , is an AA group where you feel most comfortable, and where the members have what you want. You belong to, or join a " Home group", just by stating your intention to adopt it as such. The idea being, that you attend that particular group regularly, and get to know the members well, and they you , so that you have a group who can and will nurture you in your sobriety
Take care and keep coming back!

AA meetings are held by a group of alcoholics who are holding each meeting.
A home group is one that you choose as your promary meeting.
It's a good odea to connect with a specific group
because you will become more familar with the members.
This is the fellowship part of AA.
You will also be allowed to vote in how the group is guided by attending business meeting... called a Group Concious.
