I can see the concern with thinking of AA as a "supplement". How can you do a program when you treat it like a part time job?
I've been going to a group centered around alcohol and drug abuse for quite some time.... I must say that it is very helpful, and I am more committed to it than many other things. I've only been to AA twice, and they were both sort of creepy experiences. But I will return again anyway.
