Strange Dream
I had a strange dream today after the alarm went off today.
I was looking down a beach and I saw a man standing as I was at waters edge, then down the beach another man, and farther still a third. They were all the same guy but a little different. Then I realized the men were all me.
The three guys (I realized when I woke up) were all me in different states. The states corresponded to the days following my getting drunk.
The first day after I get drunk I am just hung over, in pain, tired and pathetic.
The second day I am very depressed, though less tired.
The third day I am very agitated and scattered.
The three men were all me, each corresponding to these three days, these three states.
It reminded me of the saying we have "play the tape all the way through" -- to understand the conesequences of our drinking. In the dream I was seeing the tape visually represented by these three selves.
I thought that was kinda interesting and thought I would share it.
By the way, I am still struggling but today I had a good, sober day.

Yes dreams are really strange. Hugs
On night 2 of my de tox from alcohol
I dreamed I was crawling thru a battlefield
strewed with body parts and pools of warm blood.
I knew I would die if I did not get across to safety.
Never quit trying Andrew...you too can win over alcohol.
