Smile 9 Days

I have finally got through my first 9 days and doing well...with the help of my diary I have been keeping.. I have been recording all my thoughts and feelings and changing my days routine to help stop the cravings...the cravings dont seem to be as bad, but they are still haunting me and I still cant be happy with the 9 days I have acheived...is this normal and how long do the cravings last?

I have been reading all the threads and It helps alot...........thankyou

Way To Go On Your 9 Days!

Keeping a journal is a grand idea.
As is changeing your routine.

I kept hard candy around to lessen my cravings.
How long will they last?
Mine left before 30 days....just don't remember the exact time.

Blessings....

Congrat's on 9 days Tracy! I'm 3 days your junior. I think it is an individual thing as to how long the craving last. Honestly, I have only had a couple of cravings, but have felt horrible, have been incredibly emotional, and until last night could hardly sleep. Hopefully it will get better for us soon. Keep it up!

Good for you Tracy. Don't worry about how long the cravings last. Just worry about today. This program is about "One Day At A Time". In the last 7 years that I've been sober, I've learned sometimes it's one hour at a time or one minute at a time. Get busy and work the steps so they can do their work on you! It works, it really does.
