Welcome 4 a new life,

I'm only 4 days sober but I only think about today. And it's great to know that today I'm firing on all cylinders and have clarity and am sober and feel I'm getting stronger by the hour. I gave it all up to HP. Hope you have a good evening!

Just remember that you don't have to do it for an eternity. You don't even have to do it for a week or even tomorrow. Just today. And when I was in early recovery, it was for an hour or five minutes at a time. Really. But the good news is that every sober minute hour and day does add up.

Keep reaching out here on SR and in f2f meetings.

We're only sober right now. All any of us have is 24 hours at a time. Keep it in prospective. The only thing that time in a program, time in sobriety teaches us is experience without the drug/drink and how to cope with life sober.
