I've made it 46 days.
I'm only pulling my hair out at night. (ask the guy who does my hair!)
Some of the time, the urge to drink seems lessened. That's such a 'wow' for me.
I've gained weight. O U C H. Craving the carbs in a HUGE way I guess that alcohol left, in its departure from my life.
Am not always access. to my p.c. this month, but reading the posts are such a great help when I can log on.
There have been some lonely nights without my former-friend aka the bottle.
I still want it badly. Seems exercise helps but hard to do in 100 deg. weather.
Our hearts go out to the hurricane victims. That alone mentally adjusts my priorities in what a crave and reality.
Thanks for listening!

Hey trooper, That is great news. Keep up the good work. One day at a time. Each day is a puzzle piece. The more pieces you get, the better view of The Real Trooper. All things mentioned are normal for your place in recovery. We've all experenced it. I'd like to thank you for sharing. There are others like you going through the same and need to be assured their not alone. There are also those, like myself that need to be reminded of the path, so our recovery will be a one way trip. Don W
