MOST people (who decide to quit) recover from addiction on their own without any support at all.

ITs been conformed over and over. I wont direct you to the sources unless you want to read a ton of anti AA lit which I would not force on anyone.

An AA person would argue that those who "just quit" on their own are not "real alcoholics". I've never really understood that one, but have seen the arguement over and over again. Not picking on "AA people", just something I've observed.
