Well I survived my move .... and living alone
 

I've moved into my new place (not by choice) ..... but it's all good.

I've never lived *alone* and quite honestly, the urge to drink was very very strong at night ..... I guess when we get the most LONELY ...... not to mention the insomnia is awful.

BUT, the good news is I didn't and although this is ONLY day 2, I feel like a stronger person. Maybe I should have moved out on my own LONG AGO!

Well, just thought I'd brief everyone.

You will be lonely for awhile..that is when you become more involved with your recovery.

Get out and meet your new friends...the ones in meetings!

I love living alone...vut it takes some getting used to.

The freedom is awesome! Cook what and when and if you choose...laundry and housekeeping on your schedule..TV shows are your favorites...and rhe only hair in the tub is yours!! :vg

Good for you! It's actually kind of fun to live alone. Just continue to be true to yourself... you will be fine. Take each day as it comes, look around at the beauty outside, and know that you are worth loving - so take care of yourself!
