I love your posts and whatever a moderator does, you seem to be doing it. However, I made myself a little personal moderator checklist once. May I offer it to you?
Check in- (check the board and make sure everybody at least has gotten their post acknowledged)
Check it out- (look up stuff for people who are too upset to use the fabulous list of resource links)
Check in the mail- (only compensation you get is gratitude and a great place to share and receive info and warmth)
Check-ers- (oh, the games people play)
Check your ego- (this requires no effort, because sooner or later, someone will do it for you.)

Hi Anne, I am not sure what a moderator'sjob is but, then again being only 2 weeks into recovery I'm not even sure what I'm doing. However, if I put enough 24s together, and I am thankful, then you will be one of the people I am thankful for. Right now I am just thankful for the 24 I just had, and for that I am thankful to you and all my other on line friends for the support. Welcome Don
