Hi again!
Sober day #7!!!! A whole week! A lot has happened in these few days -- I've learned a lot about myself, the way I would deal with things by drinking, etc.
I'm enjoying the simple things again -- watching my puppies play or just taking a walk -- the simple joy of watching a movie and remembering the whole thing the next day LOL.
I was looking at a magazine and I was jealous because it was pics of a dinner party. The people were drinking. But I thought to myself that the glass of wine the man had in his hands was probably his only one. ONE. I can't do that. I can't drink like a "normal" person. I wish I could but I can't. So I have to avoid alcohol -- but there are worse things in life, right?
Anyway, doing well. I'm working out again and feel soooooo much better. The first 3 days were probably the toughest. It's much easier now.
