Welcome back. Yes, as we say in AA - alcohol is cunning, baffling and powerful. Don't take it too hard. We all have been there. Try and learn from it. Understand what your triggers are. Get a plan in place for next time. Get phone numbers of other alcoholics to call when you get cravings. If your not already, get involved with a recovery program.
Try to stop as soon as you can again. That's the biggest thing - all is not lost. 6 wks of sobriety is great. I often think that while I didn't succeed in staying clean all for the whole year last year, I still drank 1/2 as many days as I did in the year before. I am hoping that this year I drink nothing!
