Inquiry on desperation: ever resorted to vanilla extract for a buzz?

Hey pals, this is the first thread I've ever started.

The question is: has anyone ever resorted to drinking vanilla extract or something similar (alcoholic but not intended as a beverage, like rubbing alcohol (don't!), mouthwash, et al) out of desperation?

I know it may be depressing to rehash, but these sorts of stories help me want to stay sober.

And check this out, it makes good wallpaper (found via Google image search):

Yep: flavored extracts, mouthwash, rubbing alcohol, you name it, I'd drink it (not first choice, but I would do it). Anything to get drunk.
