Thanks y'all.

Dan - I was hunting around for an appropriate picture of Leonard Smalls to use to reply to your comment, but the internet let me down.

Just picked up my 60 day chip. My home group thinks I'm special.

And you are, Joe!

P.S. No sleet for me, thank you! We get enough as it is. Why can't it just snow already?

Joe,

Congratulations.

Since you posted to my other post, I guess you can see that I unfortunately celebrated on your great day yesterday. So sorry I missed it.

It is good to see the gut wrenching trials and the many successes we share on these pages. It makes us all a little stronger. Keep on posting.

Again, congratulations,

Toivo

It's good to see them both. Thanks Toivo. I hope you're feeling a little better today.

Thanks again everybody for the pat on the back. Kind of glad for the milestone today. Helps me stay centered for the holidays. The relatives started arriving about an hour ago, and are going to be on hand through Tuesday. I'm in for an interesting weekend.

Best,
Joe

Not me. My sister-in-law and her husband each had one little bitty little glass of wine with my wife, and then let the mostly full bottle get warm out on the counter. Infused with a mellow glow, they talked about things they had seen on reality television for more than an hour. The conversation drove me bananas, but I can honestly say I wasn't tempted to join them in a teeny weeny little glass of white wine.

Four more travelers approach this day from the East.

Understandable. Bless you for having to endure it.

Following yonder star?

Yeah, when I've been out to see bands, it seems like there's always some old friend getting wasted to remind me of what I'm NOT missing.

Thanks gang. Everything's going great. I've been hiding out in a hunting camp in east Texas since Sunday. Glad to be back to an almost normal home this evening, though I'm a little less glad to be back at work tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes. I hope you all had a very happy holiday.
