On the bus.

I rarely see spiders in my place as I am 3 floors up. It's well known in the animal kingdom that spiders are bone idle.

On the Soberbus

PJ, bet you was glad you wasn’t a bird when you saw that spider!
I don’t kill spiders either. though they have to be fast so my cats don’t get them!

'nother 2h walking. I actually feel better for it.
Spring here. The grasses and plants are growing really quickly. More little critters like mice and rats. So more snakes...starting families- brown snakes are very aggressive...inject huge amounts of venom. I stepped on one in a hike thru a gorge...it had a very distended belly..rabbit sized. The video is a southern suburb in Adelaide. I always wear shoes and look down walking anywhere there is long grass.

Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit!

OK, ya I'd hate to run into one of those big Aussie spiders. I forgot to mention the spider buddy I have in the garage. He setup house under the lights next to the fly strip & is well fed. He's a big 'un if a centimeter counts as big.

Happy Coffee day!

Cats think they're so superior. Every opportunity to humiliate them is necessary

Thanks everyone! We rode out the storm at my dad’s ...he lives further inland and the power lines are underground so we had power the whole time! Luckily we didn’t get a direct hit, but still had category 1 or 2 strength winds….pretty scary!

Star I hope your relatives are ok…so frustrating when you think you’re evacuating and then end up right in the storm’s path because it makes an unexpected turn!

Hopefully we will have our power at home restored soon….staying at a hotel for the weekend.

Good to see you Purps, and know you and your family are safe. We’ve missed you.

These two are ‘going’ pretty swiftly!

Good Sunday morning!
The room is finally painted.
Mrs D. is downstairs at this very moment doing a home Covid test. Fingers crossed.
