Mmm. I've stopped going. Long story, but I haven't been since Covid started.

On the bus. This beach is a few hours drive, but it would be really nice today. There would surely be agates.

Your beach pebbles made me think of another way to cool off. Smooth river type rocks (I found mine along the coast in your area) can really hold on to cold; if you have any, you could try wetting them a bit and putting them in the freezer for a while. You could place some near you in bed while you sleep.

I have made good progress in the last week. COVID fatigue is still with me but is getting better - had a rather ‘normal human being’ day yesterday and then slept soundly for 15 hours

So glad that you are feeling better.

Grab the weighted blanket Alpine and curl up for a nap.

Surprising find during yesterdays deconstruction project. I know duct tape can fix a lot of things, but really?

That tape might be to stop the pipe vibrating or knocking against the wood I suppose.

Hang in there Alpine, we see the world more clearly when we're not drinking and it's not always pretty but it's a lot better than masking it with booze.
