1,470. Which isn't that big of a number compared to the number of days on the other side before I quit.
It's always lurking, isn't it? You have a bad couple of days, and it's just waiting there, trying to crawl back in. Alcohol is infinitely patient and it never sleeps.
It helps to come here and read the newcomers forum. It reminds me that I can't ever take my sobriety for granted.
There's no top of the mountain. You can get far away from the dark, dreadful valley below, but you always have to keep climbing.

You are right Zoobadger, we're always only a few minutes away from a relapse, there is no top of the mountain.
But by accumulating time, my sober muscles are getting stronger every day to punch that pesky AV in the face
