David has a year

I have a year sober:something I couldn't have imagined before,something I can't live without now.I have a life to live now:something I never had before, real friends people I can count on. life is good and sure I still have my problems, but they pale in comparison to what I have gone through.. So I stand here sober a year sober and life is good and getting better each day. I truly never want to use again and can't imagine doing so ever again.

David that’s fantastic! And here’s the better part! And sometimes the scary part! It just keeps on getting better!

Doesn’t mean there won’t be downs as well as ups! I’ve had plenty of downs in my 30 years sobriety! But what happened to me is I eventually got my own free Will Power back and can use it any time as long as I’m guided by my Higher Power!

Congrats on your whole year, David! I felt so much better when I knew I could get stay sober through a calendar year, with all it's temptations (holidays, vacas, etc.) You are stronger than ever.
