David is 7 months sober!
 

Hi all I'm 7 months sober! I just got back from a indoor pbr rodeo that I attended with AA friends. It was a blast with rock music and varied entertainment. I keep having fun sober and it's awesome. i am no longer alone, I feel so much better than I did prior to getting sober. I forget how bad it was at times. I remember when I realize how well I feel now in comparison.
The awesome fact is my soberity doesn't depend on me, but instead I rely on my higher power to keep me sober. I just have to work the steps on a daily basis to stay sober.

7 months is quite the impressive achievement David. And it's obvious from tracking the changing tone of your posts just how much there is to be gained by staying sober. You're so much more relaxed and happy.
