One year tomorrow
Its like my birthday is coming and a party with all my friends is happening tomorrow, but no i will be celebrating with my family at home watching a movie and i will be sober 365 days.
The only advice i can give is for those of you starting is keep at it you know as i did its the right thing for you to do. I know you've heard all the benefits to your health and on and on it goes but it true. It really dose happen.
So a big THANKYOU to all of you who have given me endless encouragement and friendship online too many to mention.
I now go forward to another year, a new year and i will stay sober.I make this promise and commitment to me. Alcohol is a selfish sneaky predator waiting behind every bush but im alert and have my escape route planned if needed and feeling weak but mostly im now strong and tell it to P***off.
So there you go 1 year tomorrow 😁

Thank you so much for sharing your anniversary - it is so helpful for those of us so early in our journey to hear, it gives me anyway, huge hope for the future. Enjoy your mint tea and here's to another year!

Thankyou all. December 1st so i watched Love actually on Netflix with the family, my son was allergic to it but managed to watch 1/2 of it, i think Hugh Grant is very funny in it. Anyway thankyou all again 1 year and it feels great.

Thankyou guys. No work today due to storm Barra. We have a red warning and winds 140kph, supposed to last for the day so sitting at home enjoying a movie.Christmas with the Kranks for starter's.
