I think mom got settled in. They let me stay past visiting hours, which was kind. I think she is disoriented and I have to be much more patient. I am worried too and it causes anxiety on my part. Thank you all for your kindness. I so appreciate the support. Love and peace to all.

It means a lot. I just got back from visiting.
She seems really tired, I'm sure it's been an ordeal for her. I bought her a few treats at the store and her newspapers. I didn't stay too long, a little over an hour. She seemed like she could have used some rest.
My nephew and BIL may go and visit this afternoon. I think she would like that and I hope she'll be feeling better by then. I know she'd like to see them.
Least, 10 more days until your procedure, I think? Praying for you until then. I'm glad you've got a situation with Billie worked out for now. I hope your pain isn't so bad. So draining. I'm sure you'll get some relief from your procedure. Take good care of you all!

Alysheba, some years ago I found these articles on the concept of "Namaste Care" which I found very helpful when I was visiting an aged family member.
Requirements due to Covid have changed things a little, but the gentle principles remain.

Thank you, SG. Gosh, these series of injuries she's had over the last 5+ years have been and are so draining. We will need the good thoughts, SG! 
FSU beat Miami yesterday, yay! I didn't get to watch the end because I was at the rehab place with my mom. They are slowly getting a little better every week.

On the Soberbus
Christmas holidays were always stressful and unhappy for me. I don’t get too involved in it all nowadays. Being sober helps enormously. Be nice to have some distractions on the sober bus adventures.
Coffee and cosy blanket throws coming on board.

Hope your wrist is getting better. I think of you when my mom complains of how painful her PT is, in fact, I mentioned to her that sometimes it hurts you. I think, as they say if you don't use it, you lose it and the adhesions get tight and hurt or other things. Getting hurt is no fun, nor is recovering.

I think you officially have hit winter Dragon. Time to settle in for the hockey season. The Jets are looking good so far.
Holidays have always been challenging for me working retail. I just want some peace and quiet instead of running around all over the place.
