I stayed in bed until past 8am this morning. I'm bad.
We had double digit temperatures right un until Wednesday when the snow started. Still coming down and is it's going to get blustery this afternoon. Winds up to 70k.
Plans today are to watch the Ottawa Remembrance day ceremonies and eat quiche.
The province just opened up covid booster shots to everyone over 18 and six months after your last shot. So I'll be getting mine soon into the new year.

I didn't have a big collection of match box cars, but I had lots of track and a few of those booster machines that would shoot the car along the track. My dad had made me a banked hairpin turn out of cardboard and glue that worked pretty good.
Not enough snow fell to keep me at home, but enough to bog down my commute. Looks like it's not going away anytime soon, I guess winter is here to stay now.

Booster shots. I am so hesitant for this due to how sick I got with the second Moderna shot. It was BRUTAL.
They say expect to feel just as bad with the booster and I'm scared. That is the truth. I am scared to feel that awful again. My hair hurt. Fever for 16 hrs. I couldn't get out of bed. It was like an 18 wheeler ran me over multiple times and then parked itself on my body. MAN! I just have a lot of fear in being that sick again. I question If I will survive the booster? Sound dramatic? I mean.....It was EPIC. I'm mentally baby stepping my way to make this decision. Small small small steps to get the booster.

Mizz didn't you have Covid? Maybe your doctor will tell you that you don't even need the third dose? Worth a discussion. I wouldn't be queuing up for one either if I had that experience.

I then had a breathing issue a few months later that took 2 doctors and countless medications to NOT solve the problem. We still dont know what went/ is wrong. So, did I have COVID? I dont know. Yes. No. Maybe. Probably. I could get that anti-body test ....I think? anyways.......Ya, Im going to say its a HARD PASS on the booster. Ive done what I could with all that I have! Godspeed, MIZZ! Glad the ablation went well. I'll be calling my mom soon. I wish I could visit her, but with the Covid restrictions, I have to settle on phone calls. I hope she recovers from this. I am worried.

Mizz, worth talking to your doc about the booster. I can see your reluctance with how I’ll you was on your last one. See if you can get an antibody test, maybe.

Sorry you had such a rough time with the shots Mizz. I got the Pfizer booster and a flu shot at the same time and it was definitely the easiest of the three shots.
