Been a while since I posted. Things are going okay, I suppose. Exited for fall weather and fall TV series to start up again. Some crime drama have gone but some new ones are starting. Hoping to catch a few episode this weekend.

Not a day goes by that I keep my guard up. Every day I am tempted to take a drink, like I'm all of a sudden cured or something. Don't do it, don't even fantasize putting that poison in your mouth. It never ends well.

Thanks for posting. I too enjoy tv as a means of enjoyment and distraction . I HATE summer as it's all stupid competition shows. Best stuff starts now. I know I can't blame my alcoholism on Tv but damn it sure helps when I have something to stay up for (as opposed to shutting myself down with drink). I had a streak of 20 mos with no drinking and gave it up one fateful Friday night. That was 15mos ago. I'm ready to start a new streak. Hopefully good entertainment will keep my occupied as I cannot deal with a "program". Best of luck to you Brother!!
